DT Hi- Load Field Support - Hit the MARC

DT Hi-Load Australia offer a service agreement on all sites in and out of Australia and depending on the size, scale and type of mining operation can provide regular maintenance on the full range of DT Hi-Load bodies.

This service benefits mining companies and contractors with varying fleet sizes with benefits including:

  • Reducing road transport costs to site for replacement parts
  • Reducing equipment downtime with rapid response
  • Improves site safety – right tool for the right job
  • Reduce maintenance costs (50% on some projects)

The MARC Programme is based on:

  • Five year agreement with annual hourly increments to be stipulated (4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, 7000)
  • Two tiered approach – quarterly wear measurement and body status reports generating pro-active repair and maintenance scheduling.
  • Includes progressive “replace as required” wear management program over the life of the MARC.
  • Charge rate is varied in accordance with mine site factors that influence body required maintenance.

Wear Management Programme

DT HI-Load Australia has revolutionised body wear maintenance for the mining industry with its Wear Management Programme. Traditionally, wear maintenance has been costly, time consuming and reduced the effective payload of the fleet.

Using the Wear Management Programme, bodies undergo periodic assessments that monitors wear rate and pattern.

Specially shaped triangular wear plates or tiles are installed at three different thicknesses adding back only the weight of steel worn from the floor, thereby prolonging service life of the body without comprising load carrying advantages.

These wear plates can be installed progressively in a short time on-site during scheduled truck maintenance meaning your fleet maintains the high levels of increased load carrying.
